Today reports came in that 6.5 million passwords were stolen from LinkedIn. LinkedIn reported that they are investigating these claims. Even if the claims turn out not to be true, I wouldn’t take the risk if I were you. Now’s a really good time to change your LinkedIn password, here’s how:
1. Sign into your account at https://www.linkedin.com.
2. On the top right corner click the drop-down by your name and then select ‘Settings’.
3. Click on on the password change link just under your primary email.
Now you can change your password to a different password. Also, if you’re using the same password for LinkedIn as other services like Gmail, Facebook, Hotmail.com, etc. I would go ahead and change those as well.
